Alison Iddings has been designing and developing websites since 1995. She founded City of Oaks Marketing in Raleigh, North Carolina in 2019 and brings three decades of design and development work to every project, including a tenure as Director of Design and Development at Go Fish Digital, where she designed and built the agency’s own site as a bespoke WordPress theme.

Her work sits at the intersection of design, engineering and search: hand-coded custom WordPress themes (no page builders), technical SEO, performance optimization, and the structured, answer-first architecture that gets a site cited by AI search tools as well as ranked by Google. She still writes the code on every City of Oaks Marketing project.

Clients have included Fidelity Bank, Verdesian Life Sciences, Doxy.me, Hoppr.ai and TBG Homes, along with law firms, e-commerce brands, hospitality businesses and SaaS companies.
